Made of wood and not plastic which seems to hold up better from my toddlers who are rough on their toys. Encourages imaginative play and for my kids to play together. The main con for me is that there are the parts that aren't attached..the phone, sink bowl and inner shelf. These parts are a constantly being removed by my 2 kids and I am anticipating the loss of the phone handle soon as it is also not attached so my kids wander the house holding it. Overall a great looking and durable product.

An adorable playset and my boys love it, however, it was very time consuming to put together and the directions could have been better. Also, some of the doors do not stay closed or you have to slam them to get them to shut. Overall, a very nice set and I'm glad we got it, however, for the money, I was expecting a little better.

After doing loads of research for the perfect kitchen to give to our little girl for her 2nd birthday, this is the kitchen we chose. And we're very happy with it. She hasn't stopped playing with it since she received it! We love the design. And the red color is perfect and not too girly - so Dad's of little boys don't seem to be bothered when they play with it too. ;-)

2 Things for Future Consideration:

1) It would be great to show the dimensions of the refrigerator, oven and under the sink compartments on websites so that one can easily determine what size toys will fit in them.

2) Our kitchen started chipping a bit the first day we had it - and without rough play. :-( I would have loved to have been given a small red paint pen for quick touchups. Not sure if we'll ever be able to match the red ourselves. Just a thought.

    We looked at a few different sets before we selected this one. It's beautiful and durable, The only problem we had with the assembly, was attaching the legs (which was near impossible to do with the screws provided). Other than that, our two year old daughter and her friends spend hours playing with it!

    We bought this for our 1 year old daughter and she hasn't stopped playing with this for over a week now! She prefers this the best over many other toys she has received as birthday presents so far. One of her aunt got pots/pans/other kitchen accessories for her and she spends hours playing with them, opening different doors, putting the pots/pans in, taking them out, etc. Love it!!
