This chair is built using swelled joint construction, a technique borrowed from Shaker design that uses NO GLUE. Thanks to the chair's interlocking construction, the notched dowels make it very sturdy and nearly impossible to be pulled apart. This chair is designed to offer you a lifetime of enjoyment. Ships partially assembled.

Whether outdoor or indoor, keep your rocking chair cleaned and polished with a high quality furniture polish to extend the life of the finish. Should your rocking chair get wet, please be sure to dry it as soon as possible. If used outdoors, the finish on a wood product will eventually begin to deteriorate. To restore its beauty, we recommend a light hand sanding and cleaning followed by application of a quality finish material as directed by your local paint store.
