And, it's made to pass all CPSC safety tests, meaning superior excellence and quality. A safety hinge prevents slamming, which means no trapped fingers! Complete with finger slots for easy opening.

        This toybox is a great price I have been shopping for a toybox for the past 4 weeks for my 1 you granddaughter. I wanted a toybox that was big, durable, pretty and had safety hinges. We were very pleased when this arrived. It actually arrived early and on her 1st birthday we were expecting it to be a few days past.

          One person can assemble if you read and follow the instructions. Slot under lid is good safety feature as are the two air holes in the back. Safety hinges hold lid at any angle. Heavy enough that climbing child is unlikely to tip it over,

          I really love this toy chest! It was very easy to assemble. My husband put it together in about 15 mins. My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves it! It's sturdy solid wood construction and I really appreciate the hinges manual close feature. I don't have to worry about it slamming shut and pinching her little fingers. It is a little bigger than most toy chest but it works great for us becuz she has sooo many toys. I would have given it 5 stars but it does not open all the way up. However, that doesn't bother my daughter who uses it everyday as a toy chest AND a seating area. GREAT PRODUCT!!
