we bought this for our 3 year old daughter for her birthday. the finished product is adorable and she loves playing with it. about 4 kids can fit at a time. [...] we also had a professional landscaper put in a more sturdy foundation for the house since our site was on a bit of a pitch. setup was fairly easy, but the instructions are not always clear. the photo is not completely accurate. the hardware is a piano hinge, not the decorative hardware shown. also, the shutters are shown operable in the photo, but they are not. they're fixed. we will either hack together a movable shutter or pay up for the window package. we haven't decided yet. all in all, we're happy with the house and so is our daughter. it's an attractive addition to our small yard.
